Web3 Girls is an organization that supports women in the web3 industry and women who want to participate in it.
The Web3 industry is expanding in result of the spread of crypto assets, NFT(*1), and blockchain games.
While the industry attract more and more attention, and the companies are intensively looking out to hire more people, the reality is that there are still very few women in the space.
In this field, where a certain level of knowledge of finance and tech is essential, a gender gap is still an issue.
However, in order for further development of the Web3 industry in Japan, we believe it is essential to increase the number of women that are working and are interested in this field.
We also know that there are many women who are interested in the Web3 industry but are still looking for an opportunity to get involved.
